Our Apartments ... Photo Tour

Our building has sixty fully-equipped bright and quiet apartments on the upper four floors. There are laundry facilities on each floor and a sundeck on the roof is available during the summer. All apartments have large windows and several have fireplaces. The building is secured by intercom access and by video cameras monitored by our on-site manager and caretakers. We're Close to Everything You Need

The Drinkle 3 building is located in the heart of downtown Saskatoon with many galleries, coffee shops, restaurants, and stores located within a one-block radius. We are located one block from the main city bus terminal, and less than three blocks from the Meewasin Valley Trail, parks, YMCA swimming pool and gym, and the Midtown Plaza, Saskatchewan's largest shopping mall. U of S students can walk six blocks to the University Bridge or take a free bus from the nearby transit center.

Shop at Drinkle Mall

Come step back into history and discover one of Saskatoon's best-kept secrets. Drinkle Mall has fifteen shops including a hair salon, yoga studio, vintage clothing shop, vintage jewelery shop, watch repair, goldsmith, coin and stamp hobby shop, new age, flamenco insurance, Filipino grocery, and the Filipino Consulate. While you are there you can enjoy our permanent exhibition of vintage Saskatoon photos.

In 2007 the Drinkle Building received a Cultural Capitals grant, through the City of Saskatoon and Heritage Canada, to produce a photo exhibit detailing the history of the Building and its builder, J. C. Drinkle. That exhibit is available to be viewed during business hours in the downstairs mall or by clicking HERE.

Drinkle 3 has two excellent street level restaurants. Mediterranno Restaurant specializes in Pizza, Pasta, and Pastries. They also have a great coffee bar and serve Saskatoon's best cappuccino. Spicy Bite is Saskatoon's newest and best Indian restaurant with daily all-you-can-eat buffet dining for $13.99.

At Drinkle3, we partner with CHEP Good Food Inc to provide participating tenants with fresh fruit and vegetables delivered to their doors for as little as $8. The cost of each delivery is added to the rent, and tenants can request that we we set the delivery inside the door when they are not home. Nearby Art Galleries

Many of Saskatoon's best art galleries are concentrated within one block of the Drinkle 3 Building including: Art Placement, Darrell Bell Gallery, Glenn Scrimshaw Gallery, Rouge Gallery, and SCYAP. Saskatoon's main gallery, the Mendel, is eight blocks away.

Third Avenue Streetscape

In 2010 our block of Third Avenue was streetscaped. The project included the addition of trees, a boulevard, old style street lights, poster boxes, paving stone sidewalks, and more public art.

Our Green Building Initiatives

We continue to strive to decrease the evnironmental impact of our building. Past projects include work to seal the vapour barrier, installation of high efficiency lighting, automated heating control, use of recycled products, and recycling.
